Released in 1984 on LP and cassette. Released on CD in 1986. The LP issue has no gatefold sleeve, but a printed innersleeve with lyrics.
A UK test pressing LP exists with an unfinished back sleeve. The cogs are upside down and there is no track listing.
A UK acetate LP pressing might exist with a piano demo version of Is This The World We Created...?
Brazilian LP issue has blue/grey titles instead of red ones.
India has the lyrics printed on the back of the LP sleeve.
Some Japanese LP issues have a giant Queen poster.
Venezuela has an LP issue with a gatefold sleeve.
The 1991 USA CD issue has three bonus tracks. Available with and without a longbox.
Re-issued on CD in Europe and Japan in 1993-1994.
A one-sided flexi 7" single was released in 1983 with a unique picture sleeve to promote the album.
Re-issued in Japan on CD in 2001 with improved sound quality.
Re-issued in Japan on CD in 2004 with a card sleeve (using the 2001 remasters). The package also includes a mini innersleeve like the original UK vinyl issue. Released in Europe on July 12 2004 (including obi's and Japanese lyrics sheet).
