Released in 1977 on LP and cassette and released in 1986 on CD. The LP issue has a gatefold sleeve and a printed innersleeve with lyrics and a photo.

France has a green vinyl issue with a sticker on the sleeve.

UK has a unique green promotional box set with an LP, photos, fan club biography and press info.

USA has a unique black promotional box set (different artwork than the UK one) with an LP, seven photos, two stickers (on one sheet), two news papers and press info.

Korea has a unique sleeve (no gatefold) and one track was deleted. It also features a lyrics insert.

The Argentinian and Uruguayan LP issues are called Noticias Del Mundo.

Turkey has a unique back sleeve (with errors) and no gatefold. The sleeve is also laminated.

The USA has a 1991 CD re-issue with one bonus track. Available with and without a longbox. The first pressing (CD and cassette) has a remaster error in track 10: some seconds were left out somewhere in the beginning. All re-pressings have this error corrected.

Re-issued on CD in Europe and Japan in 1993-1994.

Re-issued in Japan on CD in 1998 with a card sleeve.

Re-issued on CD in the USA as an MFSL issue with a different sleeve and a gold CD.

A pirate picture disc was released in 1997 without a sleeve. A few different versions are known:

normal issue

test pressing with a white A-side and a normal B-side

test pressing with a white B-side and a normal A-side

test pressing with a white A-and B-side

miss pressing with the A-side pic on the B-side and the B-side pic on the A-side

miss pressing with two A-side pics

miss pressing with two B-side pics

A 2001 pirate issue was released on purple, red, yellow, green, blue and orange vinyl with a special sleeve. Each copy is numbered and limited to 500 copies.

Re-issued in Japan on CD in 2001 with improved sound quality.

Re-issued in Japan on CD in 2004 with a card sleeve (using the 2001 remasters). The package also includes a mini innersleeve like the original UK vinyl issue. Released in Europe on July 12 2004 (including obi's and Japanese lyrics sheet).
